Australian Virtual Business Network

About Us

The Australian Virtual Business Network (AVBN) was created to offer Australian virtual businesses a place to partner with their ideal client, showcasing their services in a professional environment. It is also a place where those businesses can learn about matters pertinent to running a business in Australia, give them access to resources for growing their business ... and a forum where they can share knowledge and experiences with each other, as well as aspiring virtual business operators.

What drives us

The AVBN strives to provide new and seasoned VAs and virtual business owners access to ongoing business support and online training. We aim to set the standard for virtual assistance in Australia.

We are also committed to providing clients with the best, pre-screened virtual support services.

People

The AVBN was developed by award-winning, Brisbane-based Virtual Assistant, Lyn Prowse-Bishop, MVA, ASO, who identified a need in Australia for provision of online support and training for those interested in starting their own VA practice - and also for the provision of top quality, prequalified VA support for clients. Australia's first certified Master Virtual Assistant (MVA), an EthicsChecked VA, Accredited Secretary Online (ASO), 2007 Business Achievers Award Winner (Professional Services), and 2006 Thomas Leonard International VA of Distinction Award Nominee, she has been in private practice since February 2000 as owner/manager of Executive Stress Office Support. She comes from over 15 years' experience in senior Executive PA roles in the legal and hospitality industries and her practice currently serves clients in four States of Australia, in the UK, and on both coasts of the USA.
